Asclera Injection is a prescription medicine that is used to treat Uncomplicated spider veins and Uncomplicated small varicose veins or known as reticular veins. Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure done by a medical specialist and it involves the injection of a solution into the affected areas. Ascleara is a sclerosing agent that works by damaging the endothelium, the cells lining the inside of blood vessels. This causes blood platelets to attach to the lining of the vessels, eventually, platelets cause the blood vessel to clot and over time, the clotted vein will be replaced with tissue. One injection is usually given per inch with multiple injections per session, lasting 15 to 45 minutes.
